We didn't start a consultancy. We grew into one.
For most of the last decade, we ran the operations side of Perkuto / Merge World — a marketing technology services business that scaled from a 15-person agency to part of a $75M division. Richard ran program management for the $15M Adobe practice. Kate built and ran the PMO inside it.
Together we drove +20% YoY billable hours growth (~$2M revenue impact), lifted utilization 3 points (~$600K profit impact), and built the operational reporting platform that ran the practice — pulling 10 disconnected systems into a single source of truth that leadership actually used.
The same operational leaks we spent eight years fixing internally show up in every services firm we walk into.
That's the bet behind Nova Path. The frameworks that move utilization from 70 to 80 percent inside one practice are transferable. Most agency and consultancy operators don't lack the will to fix it — they lack the playbook, the time, and the operator who's done it before. We've done it before.
We left in mid-2025 to build Nova Path Group full-time. Same problems. Different surface area. One firm at a time.
